Cloudshed, Bren Murphy

Q11 Why are there stars in the daytime?

Q12 Why do the stars look like dust?

Q13 Why is he showing me this random selection of images?

A1 These images have been selected by Collate Presents to be in the Mull It Over exhibition, at Artist Residence, Brighton UK 12-17 Jan 2012.

Are these photos thematically linked? Do they cohere in any way as a collection? (Oh no, that’s fifteen questions now, isn’t it? No, wait…)

These are not rehtorical questions, dear reader. If the Dadaists taught us anything, it’s that if we put a big pair of parentheses around anything, we’ll tend to see meaning behind the selection.

Of course, there are reasons that make sense for me for this particular collection for this particular exhibition, but your reasons for my selection would be much more interesting, so do please comment.
